Tate Psychotherapy offers the following services

Individual Therapy - Adults

When it comes to therapy, one size does not fit all. We are careful not to give clients advice, as we know that they have the answers within themselves. Instead, it is our duty to help them find those answers. We have training in a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectal behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, and more. We complete frequent training and participate in ongoing education to provide exceptional care. Each treatment plan is specialized for each client with their input.

Family Therapy

In family therapy, we treat the entire family as one unit that is working to overcome their battles and strengthen their foundation. There are many reasons why a family make seek therapy.  Some of these include:

  • Divorce

  • Child/teenager behavioral issues

  • Sibling fighting/disagreement

  • Difficultly communicating with each other

  • Recent grief of loss

  • Forgiveness

  • Managing conflict

  • Blending families

Individual Therapy - Children and Adolescents

Parents and caregivers often feel at loss when they realize their child or teenager is suffering emotionally and/or behaviorally. While most of us view childhood as a care-free time in our lives, this is not always the case. Children and teenagers can experience the same emotional health and mood disorders as adults do.

Some common reasons children and teenagers come to therapy are:

  • Persistent worry, anxiety, or fearfulness

  • Preoccupation with illness or their own appearance

  • A sudden, unexplained drop in grades at school

  • Obsessively performing routines during the day, such as washing hands

  • Dieting obsessively

  • A loss of interest in activities that were once enjoyed

Sometimes, we just don't have the time or ability to make it into an office session.

We get it. Life happens. Maybe you wish you could come in for a session, but it would be easier to have it at home in your pajamas. Or maybe your work or family schedule doesn't allow you time to travel for in-person appointments.

Whatever reason that brings you to seek Telehealth is okay. There's no judgment here.

Our priority is that you get the support, one way or another.
