Anthea Malone, M.A, PsyD

Anthea Malone at Tate Psychotherapy

(she/her) As a psychologist and art therapist, I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I offer insight-oriented talk therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and psychodiagnostic testing.

I also integrate cognitive, behavioral, creative-expressive, and dialectical interventions, when appropriate. I work primarily with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, periods of transition/adjustment, and relationship difficulties, as well as with children with a range of difficulties including mood and behavioral problems, and academic challenges.

A collaborative and trusting partnership provides the best foundation for change and growth. I strive to provide a warm and containing therapeutic space, where clients of all ages can feel supported, seen, and heard. I consider it a privilege to work with clients to explore their inner worlds towards greater self-knowledge, mastery, and fulfilment in relationships with themselves and the world around them.
